Heart Break; Chapter Sixteen.

“Do you know her?” HyukSoo’s father asked JiYong. JiYong then looked at me.
“No sir.” He flashed a smile. No? Is this revenge?
Then Mr. Lee looked at me. “What are you doing at a place like this?”
“Business with a friend.” I said and picked my purse up from the ground.
“What friend is that? If you’re here-“
“Don’t worry, SIR. I’m not here to do anything with you or him. I have my own business matters to take care of.” I said.
“You need to stay away.” I heard him threaten me. I just ignored him and went on with my business. What was JiYong doing here? Why was he with HyukSoo’s father?
“Here are you files.” Bom said as she handed me the folders.
“Thanks for doing this for me.” I smiled.
“Don’t worry about it. I hope your business goes well. Hey make sure I get discounts on one of you best sellers.” She smiled.
“Of course.” I said. “By the way…what do you know about Mr. Lee and his son?”
“Oh them? Not much really. Since they keep their personal life seperate from the office. But they are very nice but strict. HyukSoo’s fiance is really nice though.” She smiled.
“Ah…I see.”
“Why you ask?”
“Just curiousity.” I grinned.
When I walked out of the building, I saw JiYong standing there, as if he was waiting for me. I ignored him and walked right passed him.
“Yah didn’t you see me waiting?” He came up to me.
“Oh…I’m sorry, do we know eachother?” I asked sarcastically.
“Hah….Are you mad about earlier?” He smirked. I just rolled my eyes at him.
“I am busy.” I said and continued walking.
“Aren’t you curious on why I’m here? Why I was with him?” JiYong asked as he followed me.
“No. Not really.” I lied. “That’s your own business matters. If you want to pretend that you don’t know me, that’s fine.”
“It’s better that he doesn’t know that we know eachother.”
“You know, I don’t get you. Why are you even there when you hate HyukSoo?” I was getting frustrated.
“I wanted to ask you the same thing.”
“I had no choice. I didn’t know that this was his business until I came here the other day.”
“I have no choice either.” JiYong said.
“What do you mean by that?”
“I thought you didn’t care.” He smirked.
“…You’re right. I don’t.” I started walking faster.
“Hey, why don’t you come back home?”
“Home? My home is gone.”
“Not there…my place.” He said.
“No that’s fine. I’m fine at Aika’s.”

I finally went to lunch with JongHyun, WooBin, YoungKwang and JongSuk. Since JongHyun kept getting on my case about buying a meal.
“So, how is everything going for you?” YoungKwang asked as our food came to the table.
“Good.” I grinned.
“We heard you worked with ZE:A and we saw your clothes in their mv!” WooBin smiled.
“Yeah I did.” I smiled back. “How about you guys?”
“Good. We signed our contracts the other day and soon we will be getting calls.” JongHyun said.
“That’s great! I’m really proud of you guys.”
“We’re proud of you too.” The guys all smiled.
After lunch, the guys watched me off as I was heading to get a taxi. But then two men came out of a black car and grabbed me by both arms. They dragged me into the middle seat as they sat on each side of me and locked the doors.
“What’s going on? Who are you guys?” I started to panick a little.
“Just doing our business. If you do what we say, then it should go nicely.” One of the guys smiled.
“Why should I? Who do you work for??”
“Mr. Lee.”
I knew it. Ever since the company tried to get hold of me the other day, I kept ignoring them. “Look, I don’t want to see him. I don’t understand why he wants to see me.”
“Just please see him. If you don’t, we will get fired.”
“…Fine.” I gave in.
As soon as we got to the company, HyukSoo saw us.
“Yah what are you two doing with her?”
“Just doing our business with your father.” They bowed.
“I’ll take care of it from here.” He went to grab my arm, but one of them stopped him from doing so.
“We’re sorry, we need to complete your father’s orders.”
“MiSuk, what are they doing?”
“I don’t know…it’s nothing” I said and started to follow them.
“We need to talk.”
“I can’t right now.”
“Miss, we need to keep going.” The grabbed my arm and started to drag me to the elevator.
“I’m sorry I had to drag you here like that.” Mr. Lee said as soon as we entered his office. “But you ignored my calls and everything.”
I just looked at him.
“You’re probably wondering why I could have possibly wanted to see you.”
“Please make it quick. I’m quite busy.”
“Oh don’t worry, I will. Quick and easy business matter I want to talk about.”
“What would that be?….”
“I buy you ticket anywhere abroad. ANYWHERE you want to go and a really nice place to live in. Plus give you money so you can start your own business. Fashion or whatever the hell you do is.” He smirked. “This way we both get what we want. For you, your dream come true. And for me, you will be far away from my son.”
“Oh…so this is what this is about.” I nodded my head. Why did I had a feeling this was coming?
“So? What do you say? Sounds like a steal right?”
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” I mumbled. “I don’t know about that.”
“Why? It’s a perfect opportunity for you.”
“How do I even know I can trust you?”
“I will do anything for you to stay away from him so he doesn’t ruin his career. If that means helping you out a bit, why not. So what do you say?”
“…Hm let me think about it.” I shrugged. Was I really going to think about it? Not really sure.
“Fine. Today is Friday right? Let me know by Monday. Hopefully you take this opportunity or I will have to find another way to get rid of you and that time won’t be nice.” He threatened. “You may leave now.”
I got up and walked out of his office. The two guys were standing there and bowed. “Sorry for earlier.”
“It’s okay. I’ll be going.” I said and bowed back.
Once I got to the elevator, someone grabbed my arm.
“We need to talk!” HyukSoo said firmly.
“What is there possibly for us to talk about? Oh about you not-“
“Why did you do it?…”
“What? What are you talking about? I didn’t do anything.” I was confused at what he was trying to get at.
“Why…did you..:”
“Just say it.”
“Why did you…try to take your life?”
My eyes grew wide and my body froze.
“Is it…true?” He looked at me.
I didn’t know what to say.
“I…I got to go.” I turned around and pressed the botton for the elevator.
“YAH! Why would you do that?”
“Take your hands off of me. It’s something you wouldn’t understand!” I yelled. Everyone started to stare. The elevator door open and I hurried to slip in. I was trying to close the door as fast as I could but HyukSoo managed to slip in as well.
He pushed me against the wall and looked at me, straight into the eyes. “Why would you do that?”
“I told you, you would never understand.”
“I thought you were over that. Done with doing stuff like that.
“Looks like you don’t know me anymore.” I tried to push him away but he wouldn’t budge.
“You’re right, I don’t understand. So tell me why!” He yelled.
I just shook my head.
“Why won’t you tell me?!”
“Hun? What’s going on here???” MinHee stepped into the elevator. Everyone outside in the lobby was staring.
“I have to go.” I pushed my way out.
“Don’t think you can get away that easily.” She grabbed my arm.
“MinHee, let her go. Don’t make a scene at the office.” HyukSoo said.
“You’ve got to be kidding me. You’re the one that is already making a scene!” She yelled.
“Let’s go.” He grabbed her and dragged her back into the elevator and closed the door.
“MiSuk, what are you doing here?” JiYong was standing by the main desk.
“Business matter. Why are you here again?”
“Let’s go outside and talk.” He said.
“Are you embarrassed or something?”
“What? No, why?”
“Why did you want to talk outside instead?” I said.
“Because I work here…”
“What?….” He’s kidding, right?
“I work here.”
“Haha you’re funny.” I awkwardly laugh.
“No. I’m serious, I’m working here for Mr. Lee. I’m one of his assistance.”
“Why….why would you work here? Especially when you hate HyukSoo? You don’t even like business.”
“To find out something.”
“Like what?”
“I will tell you when I figure it out.” He said. “Why are you here again? To see your friend?”
“…Yeah.” I lied.
“Oh…oh sorry about the other day. I just thought it was better for both of us that he thought we didn’t know eachother.” He apologized.
“It’s okay.”
“Good.” He smiled. “Well I should get back to work before I get fired.”
“Wait…” I grabbed his arm.
“Yeah?”
“HyukSoo said somethine weird to me today…”
“Why are you talking to him?”
“HE approached me first. He said…ugh never mind. You probably wouldn’t have any idea why. Go ahead to work.” I said.
“…Okay?”
I waved bye to him as he walked back into the building.
He wouldn’t have said anything to HyukSoo about it. Right?
My phone started go off and it was WooBin calling.
“Yes?” I answered.
“Noona! Are you okay? We saw some guys take you away when you left the restaurant!!”
“Yeah I’m fine. Don’t worry about that.”
“Are you sure? Because they just dragged you and-“
“I’m fine. I promise. I’m going home right now. It was just some business matter. Let the other guys know too, okay?”
“Okay….call us if you need anything!”
“Will do. Take care.” I said and then hung up.

It was Sunday night and I was still thinking about what HyukSoo’s dad had said. The only reason why I was considering this was just so I can get away from everything. But would it really up my dreams? I wasn’t sure. I wasn’t sure if I could fully trust the man.
“Unnie, you have a visitor.” Aika said, as someone walked in behind her. It was JiYong.
“What are you doing here?” I asked him.
“I found what I was looking for.”
“What?”
“I know why HyukSoo did what he did. I know why he didn’t show up at the show and why he’s been ignoring you.”
“Y-you did what? Is that why you started working that?”
He nodded his head.
“Why would you do that for me?…..”
“Because it was pissing me off how it was treating you. I needed to get to the bottom of it since you wouldn’t.”
I was at his actions. “Well…then why did he…do that?”
“It was his father, that’s why.”
